Online auction sites, such as eBay, have hundreds of listings for iPad-themed domain names. Some web addresses can be snapped up for around $100, while others are listed for considerably more. One domain name, ipaddownloads.com, is on sale for $1 million.
Nik Tyler, the 31-year-old record producer who registered the ipaddownoloads.com domain name, told Fortune that he had received some offers, but "nothing in the price range" of what he hoped to achieve for the web address.
